Earth Print Association

Earth Print Association was established in December 2000 in Japan. We were formally registered as non-profit organization in Tokyo 2002.

Our first debut was at UNHCR (United Nation Higher Committee for Refugee) concert December 2000 which was coordinated by Earth Access Committee, founded by Chairman Mr. Kenji Koga who is our original member. Mr. Max Roach, a world famous jazz musician, performed in support of our activities.

EPA’s founder, Hiro Hakozaki, has strong background of knowledge, experience, skill and strong contacts to “Digital Hard-copy Industry”, EPA is supported by leading printer/copier/consumable manufacturers in this field.

There are many printers or print shop like Kinko’s, and we can never compete with
them, because they are so strong, so we decided to offer special printings of cloth and related applications.

This October, we announced new interior coordination system at “Tokyo Urban Life Showcase 2005”, called “Do It Yourself for original Interior design goods”.
Our target is not for the professional people, but the people who are conscious for their original home interior .

This system flow is,

1. Customer prepare their Graphic Design which is used as their basic pattern
for interior goods.
2. Customer orders the printed cloth with type of material and size.
Customer can select specific cloth from several types of polyester based material like Mat, Georgette, Mesh, See-through, and other fabrics.

3. We also provide our own std. design which can be modified to customers.
If customer wants to ask basic design pattern, our association can help.
4. After receiving the order from customer, we digitally print the fabric with dye inks, and post-treated the fabric so that it is washable and light-fast against ultra-violet rays which tend to fade colors.
5. Within a week, customer receive the printed cloth with specified size and material.
6. Next step is customer’s world !
The printed material is cut by customer themselves to fit with the objective
which customer want to decorate by covering the surface.
7. The tool for this are only cuter/scissors and glue tape (both side glue).
This work is sometimes very easy, but in some cases need time to accomplish. But this work is lot of fun.

- Delight to think, how coordinate.
- Actual works to decorate with time and a sense of achievement.
- Enjoy by themselves surrounding their own designed goods.
- They can proud of these interior goods, because these are only one.
